Biography
Graduated from Nagoya University medical school in 1985. After internship training at Nagoya Akai Hospital, entered Doctor course at the Graduate School of Medicine, Nagoya University in 1988. After completing the graduate school in 1992, he studied at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, USA and engaged in the identification and analysis of cancer-related genes, mainly lung cancer and mesothelioma. 1998 Lecturer at the Department of Preventive Medicine, Nagoya University Medical School Affiliated Hospital. I have been in current position since 2005. Deputy Director of Research Institute from August 2013 (concurrently). Visiting Professor (Graduate School of Medicine, Nagoya University) (Department of Cell Engineering) concurrently. (Doctor Expo)

1) Identification and functional analysis of lung cancer / mesothelioma cancer gene / tumor suppressor gene 2) Cellular characteristics of mesothelioma 3) Basic research on molecular target therapy for solid tumors
