Biography
has served as a director of Baxter since 2003. Dr. Gavin is chief executive officer and chief medical officer of Healing Our Village, Inc., a corporation that specializes in targeted advocacy, training, education, disease management, and outreach for health care professionals and minority communities. He previously served as executive vice president for clinical affairs at Healing Our Village from 2005 to 2007. Dr. Gavin is also clinical professor of medicine and senior advisor of health affairs at Emory University, a position he has held since 2005, and clinical professor of medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, a position he has held since 2008.
