Biography
Dr. Ikuya Nishimura is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Bioengineering and Bioinformatics, Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, Hokkaido University, since 2008. He Received a Ph.D.(Doctor of Engineering) in December, 1999 from Hokkaido University for a thesis entitled "Basic study of modification of the frictional surface in total joint arthroplasty by new surface structure".Dr. Nishimura is a member of The Japanese Society for Biomaterials, The Japan Society for Precision, Engineering and The Japan Society for Mechanical Engineering.
