Aziz Ouerdani

Biography

Dr. Aziz Ouerdani joined Certara in June 2016. He is an associate director consultant modeler working on PK and PK/PD studies in clinical development and in specific populations. Aziz already provided his expertise in population PK/PD analysis to support drug development in different therapeutic areas like oncology, infectious disease and immunology. Dr. Ouerdani received his PharmD in 2012 from the Université Paris Descartes. During his studies he had the occasion to perform various internships to develop his skills in PK/PD modeling and simulations as in the University at Buffalo (USA) or in the department of modeling and simulations of Novartis (Basel, Switzerland). He completed his formation with a PhD in Applied Mathematics obtained in 2016 from the Université Joseph Fourier in Grenoble (France). His works focused on the analysis of efficacy data related to antiangiogenic drugs (small molecules and monoclonal antibodies) in the different steps of oncology drug development. This work was part of the DDMoRe project and its different projects were realized in collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline (Raleigh, USA), the department of pharmaceutical sciences of the Universidad de Navarra (Pamplona, Spain) and the department of neurosurgery of La Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital (Paris).
