Biography

Dr. Hiro Takahashi is an associate professor at the Graduate School of Horticulture, Chiba University. He received his B. Sc. (2002), M. Sc. (2004), and Ph.D. (2006) from the Graduate School of Engineering, Nagoya University, under the guidance of Prof. Takeshi Kobayashi and Prof. Hiroyuki Honda. He was a postdoctoral fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) at the National Cancer Center Research Institute (Genetics Division, 2006-2007) and an associate professor at Chubu University (Graduate School of Bioscience and Biotechnology, 2007-2012).

Research Interest

Research specialties are bioinformatics, biostatistics, data-mining, tailor-made medicine, drug discovery, microarray analysis, and genome analysis.
