Biography
Prof. Tang got his Bachelor's degree in geography from Zhongshan University, China in 1982, Master's degree in environmental science from Tsukuba University, Japan in 1985 and Ph.D. degree from Tsukuba University, Japan in hydrology in 1988, respectively. He worked in Geography Department, Zhongshan University from 1988 to 1993 and have been working in Chiba University, Japan since 1993. Recently, he is doing researches on natural remediation processes in wetland as well as water and soil environment effected by human activities. Member of JGHA, AGU, IAHS and IAH
Research Interest
Research works are mainly on water cycle and element migration in forestry basin, groundwater flow, geohydrochemistry, contaminant movement in water, hillslope hydrology and integrated hydrological processess in arid, semiarid as well as tropical regions by using isotopes and chemistry
