Biography
Mary Alexander joined Colt on 1 August 2017 as Executive Vice President (EVP) – Human Resources. Mary is responsible for driving Colt’s people strategy, reporting to CEO Carl Grivner. Mary spent seven years with global payments leader PayPal, where she was Vice President HR for the Americas, EMEA and APAC regions. She also led HR for the PayPal Europe bank, based in Luxembourg. Prior to PayPal, Mary was Head of Talent Management globally for the mining company Anglo American plc, and before this, her role was Head of Corporate HR for Mondi plc, the paper and packaging business that de-merged from Anglo. She also spent over a decade with British American Tobacco plc in a number of roles, including Head of HR for the Latin American & Caribbean region in Rio de Janeiro. Within the HQ, she ran the global resourcing function focused on building strong hiring and employer branding capabilities.
