Biography
Lukas leads CUTERA’s engineering group, and has responsibility for all phases of product and applications development as well as manufacturing engineering. He has over 15 years of experience developing laser and ultrasound solutions for applications in dermatology, ophthalmology, biotechnology, and optical networks. Lukas joined Cutera in 2008 as Director of Advanced Research, and then served as Senior Director of Research from 2011 to 2015. Prior to joining CUTERA, he worked at Coherent, JDSU, and SDL in various technical leadership and engineering management roles. Lukas received a B.S. in Chemistry from U.C. Davis and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from U.C. Berkeley
