Biography
Dr. Uehara is a researcher in the Department of Drug Safety Evaluation Shionogi Co Ltd and he is the head of toxicogenomics team in this company. He earned his DVM and PhD from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology and Osaka Prefecture University respectively. In addition he is one of the members of Japanese Toxicogenomics Informatics Project Until now he has published several scientific and review papers concerning toxicogenomics and biomarker research.
Research Interest
His main research interests include Toxicogenomic approach to drug-induced toxicity; Biomarker research and development to improve the early detection, monitoring, and prognosis of toxicity.
