Biography
Kurt Webber joined Galvanic in 2014 to lead the company’s sales and marketing efforts, overseeing both the gas- and liquids-analysis groups based in Calgary Canada and Lowell, Massachusetts USA, respectively. Kurt’s charge is to expand the reach of the company’s gas- and liquid-measurement systems to solve new process-monitoring and control challenges for customers worldwide. Previously, Kurt was director of industrial sales at Abington, Maryland-based Environics USA, a global provider of industrial gas-detection and monitoring systems for chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear hazards. Earlier, he was director of international sales for Ahura Scientific (acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific), a manufacturer of portable chemical analytical devices for military and civilian first responders, as well as for pharmaceutical firms and health organizations. Kurt was also a co-founder of Molecular Analytics, Inc., a manufacturer of ion mobility spectroscopy-based products for contamination monitoring in semiconductor manufacturing, where he served on the board of directors and as vice president of sales and marketing. An expert in the field of chemical- and process-gas analysis, Kurt has authored more than 20 technical papers on the subject. He is a graduate of the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.
