Biography
Yoshino Jun is currently working in Gifuu University, Japan. His research work is on operational weather forecasts everyday based on the "Gifu University Local Weather Forecasting System (GULWFS). "Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) model" which can predict the future behavior of the motion and states of the atmosphere. The NWP model numerically solves the governing equations of the atmospheric dynamics and physics with target 3-D simulation grids. To prevent disasters from imminent super typhoons and torrential rainfalls, a high-resolution NWP model must be developed by improving existing technologies.
