Biography
Dr. Edwin P. Su has a particular interest in using new technology to achieve best results for young, active patients with hip and knee arthritis, offering both non-surgical and surgical treatments. Dr. Su is one of the leading hip resurfacing surgeons in the United States, having been involved in the clinical trials of this bone-preserving technique. He strives to match each patient’s treatment to their specific needs. During his fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at Hospital for Special Surgery, Dr. Su trained in all the latest techniques of hip and knee replacement, minimally invasive surgery, joint reconstruction, and revision hip and knee replacement. Dr. Su graduated from Harvard University, Magna Cum Laude with Highest Honors in Biology, and Cornell University Medical College, where he was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha society. During his residency training at HSS, Dr. Su received the Jean McDaniel Award in recognition of his commitment to patient care and teaching.
