Biography
Hiroki Murata is an advisory researcher at IBM Research - Tokyo. He belongs to the Deep Computing & Analytics group in Systems & Software. He received his B.E. and M.E. degrees from Waseda University in 1987 and 1989, respectively. He joined IBM Research - Tokyo in 1989, and worked on shared multi-processor systems, storage systems, hand-held devices, distributed systems, performance optimization of high performance systems, performance optimization tools, resilient systems and languages, agent-based simulation platforms, and cloud computing systems. He is working on performance optimization of agent-based simulation platforms on cloud computing systems. His research interests include software tools, languages, and middlewares for high performance computing systems. IPSJ senior member.
