Biography
Dr. Gil Kliman leads the medical device investment team at InterWest Partners and invests in a broad array of healthcare opportunities, with a special interest in ophthalmology and digital health. He is a board member of Avedro, Benvenue Medical, Doximity, Glaukos (GKOS), Gobiquity, Restoration Robotics, and ReVision Optics, and a prior board member of Epocrates (EPOC), IntraLase and LenSx. A former practicing ophthalmologist, Gil completed an ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Institute and retina fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary as a Heed Fellow. He has a BA from Harvard University, an MD from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Stanford University
