Biography
Mr. Masayuki Oku is Chairman at Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc. and Auditor at Nankai Electric Railway Co., Ltd. He is on the Board of Directors at Bank of East Asia Ltd., Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Komatsu Ltd., Kao Corp. and Panasonic Corp. Mr. Oku was previously employed as Vice Chairman by Nippon Keidanren, Chairman by Japanese Bankers Association, and President, CEO & Representative Director by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. He received his undergraduate degree from Kyoto University and a graduate degree from The University of Michigan Law School.
