Biography
John is a co-founder and currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer of Kapa Biosystems. Prior to founding Kapa Biosystems, John held a variety of research positions in the departments of Environmental, Population, and Organismal Biology and Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at the University of Colorado with a focus on Hox gene expression and evolution. John is also an active investor and a founding partner of Table Mountain Capital LLC, a private investment company involved in funding several life science and technology-based business ventures. John serves on the Board of Directors of Diffinity Genomics, a life science tools company commercializing novel DNA extraction and purification technologies.
