Biography
Sachiko Isobe started her career as a conventional red clover breeder in 1997. Currently she is a lab head of Plant Genomics and Genetics performing denovo whole genome sequencing, DNA marker development, linkage map construction, QTL identification and marker assisted selection for diverse plant species. Strawberry is a target species in the lab. Whole genome sequencing and genetic analysis has performed since 2010 with collaborators in Japan, USA and several countries in the EU.
