Biography
Dr. Akihiko Takagi is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Department of History, Kyushu university, Japan. His research interests include Geographical Study on Elections, Geopolitics, Geographical Thought and Japanese Modernization, Re-structuring of Municipalities in Japan and Border Landscape, Re-thinking of border studies with researching case studies in Tsushima and Ishigaki islands. He /she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Akihiko Takagi is the member of many international affiliations. He/ She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He /she has authored of many research articles/books related to Geographical Study on Elections, Geopolitics, Geographical Thought and Japanese Modernization, Re-structuring of Municipalities in Japan and Border Landscape, Re-thinking of border studies with researching case studies in Tsushima and Ishigaki islands.
