Biography

  Thanks to our company, we will celebrate the 90th anniversary of our foundation on December 23, 2017. I would like to express my gratitude to you all, thank you for the warmth and generosity of your heart. We have pursued the "usefulness for the consumers" based on the spirit that we have inherited from the previous people for 90 years since our establishment. But now, the world is entering an era of turbulence and drastic change. Advances in technology progress at an exponential rate, and every year it is like a change that is said to be once every ten years. With such uncertainty rising, it has become more difficult to accumulate so far and to find the future by just doing it.  So, in order to be a company that is needed by society in the next 100 years and further in the future, we will review the "corporate philosophy" which is the "mission" in the milestone of this 90th anniversary, In addition, we have formulated the future-oriented new "dream", that is, "vision" not stuck to past accumulation.  In the "Corporate Philosophy", we return to the origin of corporate activities, further strengthening the significance of Mandom's existence created by the former people, and evolving, newly laying the foundation of "human system" as the foundation, newly born again did.  A wave of digitization that gets on the ground and the AI ​​that continues to develop are commonplace. That is why it is expressed by the word "human system" that what we can do only for human beings, that is, having a heart to consider human feelings, imagining people's happiness, and creating value useful for people , I would like to be a company that respects this.  In "Vision", we have clarified the 100th anniversary of the 2027 wishful appearance, the future image that we want to aim for from the heart as "vision". A dream has the power to stir passion for people and make impossible possible. With this dream as the driving force, I will backcast in the future-oriented direction, I will constantly strive towards the future while practicing challenge change innovation constantly.
