Alex Niemeyer

Biography

Alex is the learning leader for McKinsey’s global Operations Practice. As the former head of our supply-chain work, he founded the Supply Chain Analytics Group to bring advanced-analytic tools and disciplines to supply-chain data in search of bigger savings and greater efficiencies. In his advisory work, Alex assists leading companies in a variety of sectors—including consumer packaged goods and pharmaceuticals companies—with the design and development of their operational processes and planning. He has extensive experience with large, global businesses and a track record of achieving substantial cost reductions and service improvements, particularly in supply-chain performance.
