Biography

Jake is the managing partner of McKinsey’s Chicago office and a former leader of our Medical Products practice in the Americas. For more than 15 years, Jake has guided medical technology company executives on matters of corporate strategy, growth strategy, and operational excellence. As one of our longest-standing advisors to the medical products industry, he appreciates the potential for each new wave of technical advance to have a profound impact on patient care. Drawing on a technical background, Jake has helped many of the world’s leading providers of medical devices navigate the rapidly changing value-chain. He also advises private equity companies seeking healthcare-related mergers and acquisitions.
