Michael Silber

Biography

Michael Silber is a leader in our Pharmaceutical and Medical Products practice. Since joining McKinsey in 1991, Michael has focused on helping leading global organizations grow and improve performance, assisting with strategy, business development, M&A, and organizational issues. He has served a broad range of health care clients in his 25 years as a management consultant. Examples of Michael's work include creating a comprehensive R&D strategy for a top-10 pharmaceutical company, developing a business-transformation strategy for a leading health-services group, and supporting a broad-based M&A program for a top-15 global pharmaceutical firm. Michael has also developed a holistic growth strategy for a leading global manufacturer of medical products, and evaluated growth opportunities in specialty devices.
