Biography
Bill came to Mevion in 2009 after serving as the director of cyclotron research and development at Siemens Healthcare Molecular Imaging. At Siemens, he oversaw sustaining engineering, research, development and applications training for the Eclipse/Explora product lines. Prior to that, Bill was a member of the Electron Gun Design group for Varian’s Microwave Tube division. He holds four patents in the field of isotope target and accelerator shielding. Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts in physics from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Master of Science and Ph.D. in nuclear engineering from the University of Tennessee.
