Yoel Bakas

Biography

Yoel Bakas’ focus at Mevion is on increasing value for our customers. Yoel was previously a senior director of strategic accounts for Varian Medical Systems, where he developed global sales strategies and managed key accounts responsible for 10% of company revenues. He also managed Varian's Georgia and South Carolina sales district, with more than 150 healthcare accounts, and was an international sales manager for image-guided and stereotactic sales. Prior to Varian, Yoel worked for ZMED, where he successfully took the company's new ultrasound imaging technology to the global marketplace. He has 15 years of sales leadership experience and won the prestigious Certified Strategic Account Manager accreditation in 2015. Yoel received a Bachelor of Arts in computer science from the University of Rochester.
