Heather Abbott

Biography

Heather Abbott is Senior Vice President of Corporate Solutions Technology for Nasdaq. In this role, Ms. Abbott is responsible for overseeing the application development and delivery for Corporate Solutions products and its web properties, as well as the solutions for Nasdaq Private Market companies.  Prior to joining Nasdaq, Ms. Abbott was Senior Vice President at Charles Schwab & Co for six years responsible for leading a team of over 400 technologists in Schwab’s core Investor Services business unit. Before Charles Schwab, Ms. Abbott was a Senior Director at PayPal (an eBay company) in their Mobile and New Consumer Products Division. She also held various technology positions at eBay within infrastructure, program management and product development with a focus on eCommerce development, mobile-based applications, product management and product engineering in both commercial and financial services settings.  Ms. Abbott received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Ottawa and a Master of Business Administration from York University Schulich School of Business.
