Biography
Tomohiro Nakayama is a medical doctor trained in internal medicine, specializing in endocrinology and hypertension as well as a molecular biologist, laboratory medicine participating in basic and clinical research. He graduated in March 1988 from the Nihon University School of Medicine (Tokyo, Japan) and there received his Master of Science degree in Medicine. He acquired his license to practice medicine in May 1988. After a 2-year residency, he entered a postgraduate program in which he studied physiology and molecular biology, being awarded his Ph.D. in 1994. He has been transferred to the Advanced Medical Research Center, Nihon University School of Medicine from May 2001. He served as a professor of the Division of Laboratory Medicine from November 2008.
