Biography
Associate Professor (SSD MED28) and Maxillo-Facial Surgeon at the Dental Clinic and Maxillo-facial Surgery of the Integrated University Hospital of Verona. In the academic field, at the University of Verona, she holds the position of Chair of the Degree Course in Dentistry and Dental Prostheses, and the role of Director of the School of Specialization in Oral Surgery for Dental Professionals. Prof. Albanese mainly deals with pre-prosthetic, outpatient and non-surgical surgery, aimed at bone reconstruction for implant prostheses, implant surgery and orthodontic surgery for surgical resolution of severe dental malocclusions. The complex branch of oral pathology is also closely followed. In the last decade he has held numerous university-level lectures at the Degree in Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Dental Prostheses, Dental Hygiene at the University of Verona. During the past few years, Prof. Albanese has participated in the most important congresses and training courses on dental implantology techniques as rapporteur. He is author of scientific articles in national and international journals.
