Susannah Tringe

Biography

Dr. Tringe joined the JGI in 2003 as a postdoctoral fellow in Eddy Rubin’s group. During her postdoctoral tenure she developed methods for comparative analysis of metagenome data from complex microbial communities. In 2006 she took a research scientist position providing scientific support for the developing portfolio of collaborator metagenome projects, and in 2010 she became head of the Metagenome Program.
