Biography
Kimihiko Okazaki has graduated from Kyoto University Faculty of Medicine in 1959. He is engaged in Medical Chemical research from April, 1960 to July, 1981 and started engaging in Internal Medicine in July, 1981. He started running a private medical clinic in September, 1989. His main achievements are as follows: 1) Discovery of a novel coenzyme of thiamine pyrophosphokinase in Baker’s yeast 2) Identification of initiator of rat liver regeneration as biliverdin and 3) Discovery of a novel and complete cure-method for allergic and autoimmune diseases Kimihiko Okazaki has graduated from Kyoto University Faculty of Medicine in 1959.
