Biography
David King, JD, is the chairman and chief executive officer of Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings (LabCorp), one of the world’s largest networks of clinical laboratories. Prior to joining LabCorp in 2001, Mr. King worked for many years as the company’s outside counsel as a partner with Hogan & Hartson LLP (now HoganLovells) in Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. King sits on the board of Cardinal Health, Inc., a Fortune 100 healthcare company. He also chairs the board of the American Clinical Laboratory Association and serves on the board of the Seattle Science Foundation. Mr. King earned a JD degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and an AB degree from Princeton University.
