Anzai Takayuki

Biography

   At PDS, Dr. Takayuki Anzai is responsible for identifying opportunities in Asia. Moreover, his background enables him to better consult with laboratories and researchers to recognize their needs and provide solutions. Dr. Anzai’s unique combination of scientific expertise and business acumen makes him a remarkable asset for the PDS team and our clients in Asia. His extensive clinical research experience stretches back more than 25 years, during which time he has been published in more than a dozen publications. He is a member of numerous scientific societies and associations and is a frequent guest speaker at industry events. Prior to joining PDS, Dr. Anzai was president and representative board director for Harlan Laboratories Japan. He also served as director of internal operations at Ina Research, where he managed the company’s consulting team and played a major role in negotiating with regulatory authorities. Dr. Anzai holds a Ph.D. and D.M.Sc. from Showa University School of Medicine, where he is also a visiting associate professor. He has also earned an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from Tokyo University of Agriculture.
