Biography
Stefan Sharpe has a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from Rutgers the State University of New Jersey, U.S.A. and MS in Industrial Pharmacy from the the College of Pharmacy at the Medical Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria. He has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for the last 20 years. He worked in the analytical department in Bristol-Myers Squibb, sterile product development in Baxter, liquid/transdermal and aerosol formulation development in Schering-Plough and in Global Manufacturing Services in Pfizer Inc. Currently he is Head of Pharmaceutical Operations in Novartis Pharma K.K. Japan and President of Ciba-Geigy Japan Ltd. Specialties: Formulation development, CMC regulatory filings, manufacturing operations optimization, product life cycle planning and people/project management.
