Biography

Enoch Y. Park is vice director of Innovative Joint Research Centerand professor of Graduate School of Science and Technology at Shizuoka University. He is selected as aleading researcher 20 in Shizuoka University and also research leader of Promotion of Nanobio Technology Research to support aging, welfare society, supported by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Japan. He isrecognized in the field of silkworm biotechnology for protein expression. He developed firstly Bombyx mori nucleopolyhedrovirus BmNPV bacmid, which is Escherichia coli and Bombyx mori shuttle vectorandeliminates the conventional tedious procedures required to identify and isolate recombinant viruses. He was also awarded excellent academic paper award entitled “Kinetic study of hybridoma metabolism and antibody production in continuous culture using serum-free medium” and TERUI award entitled “Strategies of the enhancement of biological and metabolic activity in microorganisms”in the society of Bioscience and Bioengineering, Japan.
