Shigeyuki Yokoyama

Biography

Shigeyuki Yokoyama has obtained his PhD degree from The University of Tokyo in 1981. He was an Associate Professor (1986-1991) and Professor (1991-2012) at The University of Tokyo and presently an Emeritus Professor. He was also appointed as the Director of the Cellular Signaling Laboratory (1993-2004), the Structural Molecular Biology Laboratory (2004-2006), the Protein Research Group (1998-2008) and the Systems and Structural Biology Center (2008-2013). He is a Distinguished Senior Scientist and directing the Structural Biology Laboratory at RIKEN.
