Biography
Dr. Takuo Ogihara obtained master’s degree in Organic Chemistry under the tutelage of Professor Oyo Mitsunobu in 1983 from Aoyama Gakuin University. He received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, under the tutelage of Prefessor Akira Tsuji in 2000 from Kanazawa University. He is currently a Professor at the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Takasaki University of Health and Welfare. He has concurrent post at the translational research center in the University. Dr. Ogihara was commissioned by National Institute of Health Science and JaCVAM to review of ECVAM and OECD documents. He has also acted as leader of an in vitro research group on hepatotoxicity and metabolism in Safety Evaluation Forum (TANIGAKU). He is a authorized toxicologist in The Japanese Society of Toxicology. In addition, Hei is a councilor of several society including The Japanese Society for the Study of Xenobiotics, The Academy of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology.

Her main research interests include Drug absorption, Transporters, Membrane permeation, Drug induced hepatotoxicity, Spheroids.
