Biography
David Osborne is Global Human Resources Officer at Takeda. He joined the company in 2013 and is responsible for all HR strategies and programs supporting the company's global business. Mr. Osborne has more than 30 years' experience in human resources leadership roles, beginning with his work at IBM in 1981, where he held positions in New York and Japan. In 1989, he joined Atlantic Richfield Corporation (ARCO), where he led HR teams in petrochemical and coal industries in Philadelphia, Hong Kong, London and Denver before joining the corporate HR team in Los Angeles as head of executive and management development. When ARCO merged with BP in 2000, he was appointed global head of HR for exploration and production in BP's London headquarters. In 2006, he joined Hilton Worldwide as head of HR for global hotel operations based in London and Shanghai. Mr. Osborne holds a bachelor's degree from Harvard University in the U.S., and a master's degree in business from Oxford University in England. He is a dual citizen of the U.S. and the U.K.
