Research Interest
Assistant Professor Lynam's research interests focus on the emergence of Japanese Modernism in graphic design and the arts, globalization and technology as expressed through design culture, digital typeface design, multidisciplinary design practice, and design theory and criticism. He regularly lectures in Asia, Europe and North America on aspects of art and design. Lynam writes regularly for IDEA (Japan), Slanted (Germany) and Modes of Criticism (UK/Portugal).
