Biography
1981: graduated from Tohoku University School of Medicine, Sendai , 1981-1983: clinical resident (general surgery) at Mito National Hospital 1983: entered Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine,  (Department of Neurosurgery),Sendai, Japan 1983 – 1984: trained as a research fellow at 2nd Department of Pathology, Tohoku University school of Medicine, Sendai, Japan 1987: graduated from Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine and obtained Igaku-Hakushi, equivalent to Ph.D. 1988 Assistant Professor, Department of Neurosurgery, Tohoku University School of Medicine, Sendai, Japan 1988.9-1988.10. trained as a research fellow at Department of Pathology (Prof. Keiichi Watanbe), Tokai University School of Medicine, Kanawagawa, Japan 1992.4-1992.11 visiting scientist at Department of Neuropathology (Prof. Paul Kleihues), University Hospital, Zurich, Switzerland 1992.12-1993.4 visiting scientist at Department of Molecular biology (Prof. David Yandell), Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA 1998-2003.9 Lecturer, Department of Neurosurgery, Tohoku University School of Medicine, Sendai, Japan 2003.9-2005.6 Chief director, Dept of Pituitary surgery, Kohnan Hospital, Sendai , Japan 2006.7-: Chief director, Department of Neurosurgery, Ohara Medical center Hospital, Fukushima, Japan 2008.7- Head of Research Institute for Pituitary disease.
