Dr.Shunji Iio, is Professor of Transdisciplinary Science and Engineering at Tokyo Institute of Technology. Professional Experience: Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute, Research Scientist(1983-1992). Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute, Senior Scientist(1992-1995). Tokyo Institute of Technology Research Laboratory for Nuclear Reactors Associate Professor(1995-present).

Nuclear fusion, tokamak, plasma, divertor, neutron source, transmutation, direct conversion, plasma diagnostics, Faraday effect, laser, glow discharge, unipolar induction, flywheel.
