Biography
TERADA Akihiko is currently working as Institute of Global Innovation Research Graduate School of Engineering Department of Applied Chemistry
Research Interest
Better use and control of complex microbial community in natural environments and development of novel bioreactor systems for water/wastewater treatment, e.g. removals of persistent organic pollutants and nitrogen, control of biofilm structure/activity, and elucidation of microbial community in rice paddy fields for removal of livestock wastewater. Development of a bio-interface towards prevention of biofilm formation, e.g. anti-bacterial surface and anti-fouling membrane.
