Biography
Dr. Toshiyuki Yamamoto is Professor in Tokyo Womens Medical University Institute for Integrated Medical Sciencesfrom 2010. His major interest is Child Neurology. He continued to analyze the genetic etiologies for children with neurological impairments; including epilepsy, intellectual disability, developmental disability etc. During recent years, his group identified many genomic copy number aberrations in the patients, some of which were established as new chromosomal deletion syndromes. Now, they are intending to use next generation sequencers to reveal etiologies for neurological disorders.
