S. Yamamoto

Biography

 As president and CEO of Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc., Shuzo Yamamoto is responsible for the overall leadership of the company and for executing strategies that support Toshiba’s mission to deliver integrated diagnostic solutions through long-term customer partnerships to improve the lives of all people. Yamamoto has held several senior-level executive positions with Toshiba. Most recently he served as vice president for Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation and chief information officer and executive quality leader for Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation and the Toshiba Healthcare Company. Before that, he was senior vice president and assistant to the president for Toshiba America Medical Systems and general manager of the X-ray Vascular Business Unit at Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation. Yamamoto joined Toshiba in 1987 after graduating from Hokkaido University with a master’s degree in biomedical engineering for work on pump design for an artificial heart.
