Biography
Akira Takahashi has done his Doctor of Medicine from Tokushima University in 1993. Currently he is working as Professor in Faculty of Medicine at Tokushima University. His research interests are Nutrition, Physiology, Bacterial Infectious Diseases, Study on change and analysis of digestion and absorption mechanism by intestinal bacterial infection. Several papers of his work were pubished in reputed international journals. He is also the member of The Japanese Society of Food & Nutrition, The Physiological Society of Japan, Japanese Society for Bacteriology, The Japanese Society of Physical Fitness and Sports Medecine, American society for microbiology.
