Biography
Hiroshi Kitahata has done his PhD from Tokushima University in 1990. Currently he is working as Professor in Faculty of Dentistry at Tokushima University. His research interests are Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Role of longevity gene, sirtuin in the cardioprotection by anesthetic preconditioning, the study of dynamic index that can predict hemodynamic changes using stroke volume variation or pleth variability index, Perioperative myocardial ischemia and cardioprotection by beta-blocker, Regional myocardial blood flow distribution. Several Papers of his work were published in reputed international journals. He is also the member of Japanese Society of Anesthesiologists, Japanese Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Japanese Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists, Japan Society of Circulation Control in Medicine, Japan Society for Clinical Anesthesia, The American Society of Anesthesiologists.
