Biography
Issei Imoto has done his Doctor of Medicine from Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine in 1994. Currently he is working as Professor in Faculty of Medicine at Tokushima University. His research interests are Genome Medicine, Molecular Cytogenetics, Human Genetics, Molecular Biology, Clinical Epidemiology, Public Health Nutrition, Identification and functional analysis of disease related gametes by genome analysis of human diseases (cancer, genetic diseases, multifactorial diseases). Several papers of his work were pubished in reputed international journals. He is also the member of The Japanese Cancer Association, The Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, The Japanese Biochemical Society, The Molecular Biology Society of Japan, Japanese Society of Public Health, Japanese Epidemic Society.
