Biography
Ryo Sakuma has done his PhD in History from Kyoto University in 1987. Currently he is working as Professor in Faculty of Integrated Arts and Sciences in Tokushima University. His research interests are Modern British History, environmental history of British Empire, criminal history in modern Britain. Several papers of his work were published in reputed international journals. He is the member of Japanese Dialect Research Society, Society of Speech Science, Kyushu Dialect Research Society, Korean Japanese Association (Director).
