Biography
Shinya Imai has done his PhD in Sociology from Hitotsubashi University Graduate School of Sociology in 1992. Currently he is working as Associate Professor in Faculty of Integrated Arts and Sciences in Tokushima University. His research interests are Modern German History, Social History of German Workingmen's Movement in the Mid 19th Century. Several papers of his work were published in reputed international journals. He is the member of The Socio-Economic History Society, The Historical Science Society of Japan, The Japanese Society of Western History, The Historical Society of Japan.
