Biography
Takashi Izawa has done his PhD from Tokushima University in 2004. Currently he is working as Assistant Professor in Faculty of Dentistry at Tokushima University. His research interests are Orthodontics, Pathology and Immunology, The orthodontic treatment of TMD patients, Analysis for mechanism of articular bone/cartilage destruction via RANKL signal in the Fas-mutant MRL/lpr mice. Several Papers of his work were published in reputed international journals. He is also the member of Japanes Orthodontic Society, Japanese Society for Temporomandibular Joint, Chu-Shikoku Orthodontic Society, The Japanese Society for Jaw Deformities, Japanese Cleft Palate Association, Japanese Society for Immunology, Japanese Society for Bone and Mineral Research, Shikoku Society of Dental Research, The American Society for Bone and Mineral Research.
