Biography
Wolfgang Herbert has done his PhD in History from University of vienna in 1993. Currently he is working as Professor in Faculty of Integrated Arts and Sciences in Tokushima University. His research interests are Religious studies, Philosophy, Thanatology. Several papers of his work were published in reputed international journals.
Research Interest
Religious studies, Philosophy, Thanatology, Hospice movement; Buddhism in the West, Mysticism, (philo)sophia perennis, body modification (tattoo), martial arts, Karate-dô, Societal and philosophical approaches to death and dying.
