Biography

Yasuko Ishikawa has done her PhD in Health Science from Tokushima University in 1983. Currently she is working as Associate Professor in Faculty of Dentistry at Tokushima University. Her research interests are Regulatory study of Oral Cavity, Dental Pharmacology, Gerontological Pharmacology, Chronopharmacology, Salivary Diagnosis, Molecular mechanisms and drug development in channel-transporter deseases, Mechanism of supersensitization and desensitization, Mechanisms of alterations of receptor-mediated signal transduction during aging, Chronopharmacological study of drug receptors, Salivary exosomes and disease diagnosis. Several Papers of her work were published in reputed international journals. She is also the member of General Association of Dentistry Basic Medical Society, Japan Dental Pharmacotherapy Society, Japanese Association for Oral Biology, Japan Salivary Gland Society, International Association for Dental Research, The Japanese Pharmacological Society, Shikoku Society of Dental Research.

Research Interest

Regulatory study of Oral Cavity, Dental Pharmacology, Gerontological Pharmacology, Chronopharmacology, Salivary Diagnosis.
